After a hectic few months of registrations & organising we would like to say a huge “Welcome” to the 90 plus new players & families who have joined our club for season 2015. Welcome aboard the Puma Train!  Also a massive welcome back to all our loyal Puma regulars.

Can the 2015 pumas better last years record breaking season? Only time will tell but we are approaching the starters gate, getting excited & ready to launch. However, there are a few things we must get sorted first. So mark the following puma activities in your diary:

This Saturday 11-04-15
Working Bee

This Saturday @ 9am the club will be holding a working bee aimed at a quick clean up & basic maintenance. If you have some spare time we would appreciate a quick hand.

Also if you have a skill..i.e builder, carpenter, plumber, sparky & have a few hours to donate please let us know. We would appreciate if anyone who is keen to help out on Saturday just reply to this email & we will start organising some tasks.

Saturday Week 18-04-15
Pumas First Senior Home Game

With great pride the Puma Seniors & Reserves will be raising both Premierships flags just before the start of their first home games. Come join in the celebration & then watch the boys take on contender Coomera in the main game at 2pm

Also Saturday Week 18-04-15
Free First Aid Course

On the same day 18-04-15 @ 9am the Pumas will be hosting a free first aid course at the Logan North Library next to our club house. As you should know every team needs a certified first aid officer to attend at every home game or sadly the kids cannot play. So we encourage parents/carers to sit this free course & help out.

The Pumas are 100% paying for this course & spots are limited. The following is the requirements you need:
– Be willing to volunteer yourself as First Aid Officer at most of your teams “home” games (Note “home” are only 50% of games you play)
– Be a member/parent/carer who will be available to attend the majority of home games
– You will need a blue card: This is free & forms are available from the clubhouse

Keep in mind most injuries at junior games are bruises..etc..(the club supplies plenty of ice, hugs, love & fully stocked first aid kit) so generally it is not a high stress position. Also keep in mind the skills learnt at this course could prove invaluable in everyday life!

If you are keen just reply to this email with your Name, Childs Name, Phone# & Childs team.

Week 3 – Saturday 02-05-15
