It is with the greatest regret that we announce the passing of one of the Springwood Football Club’s greatest people, Ron Bishop. Ron passed away peacefully on Saturday night.
Ron held just about every position in the club since it started and received the highest honour a club can award anyone, in Life Membership. The senior best and fairest shield is also named in his Honour.
Ron’s Funeral will be held this Wednesday 25-11-15 at 12:30pm at St Peters Rochedale, 955-971 Rochedale rd. The wake will be held at the Springwood Football Club from 2pm. All are welcome.
